DISTRICT COURT (NEW AREAS) ORDER, 1927 (VARIATION No. 122) ORDER, 1949.

I, SEÁN MAC EOIN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (3) of section 47 of the Court Officers Act, 1926 (No. 27 of 1926), and of section 11 of the Court Officers Act, 1945 (No. 25 of 1945), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling hereby order as follows :

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the District Court (New Areas) Order, 1927 (Variation No. 122) Order, 1949.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of February, 1949.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The district court area of Ballyfarnon is hereby abolished.

4. For the purpose of cases of summary jurisdiction, the district court area of Boyle in District No. 4 is hereby varied by the addition thereto of the district electoral divisions heretofore forming the district court area of Ballyfarnon.

5. Business transacted in the District Court which is initiated before the date on which this Order comes into operation and is not completed before that date shall be continued and completed at Boyle.
