WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1948 (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1948.

I, WILLIAM NORTON, Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 2 of the Workmen's Compensation (Amendment) Act, 1948 (No. 23 of 1948), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Workmen's Compensation (Amendment) Act, 1948 (Appointed Day) Order, 1948.

2. The 1st day of January, 1949, is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of the Workmen's Compensation (Amendment) Act, 1948 (No. 23 of 1948).
