INFECTIOUS DISEASES (MAINTENANCE) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1948.

The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers vested in him by Section 44 of the Health Act, 1947 , hereby makes the following regulations :—

1. (i) These regulations may be cited as the Infectious Diseases (Maintenance) (Amendment) Regulations, 1948.

(ii) These regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Infectious Diseases (Maintenance) Regulations, 1948.

2. Where a married woman is receiving institutional services free of charge in an institution and her husband is unable to make proper provision for the care of their family, the payment shall not exceed £1 per week where the husband is ordinarily resident in a county borough or fifteen shillings per week where the husband is ordinarily resident elsewhere.
