SAVINGS CERTIFICATES (MAXIMUM HOLDING) RULES, 1948.

The Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (2) of section 30 of the Finance Act, 1940 (No. 14 of 1940), hereby makes the following rules :—

1. These Rules may be cited as the Savings Certificates (Maximum Holding) Rules, 1948.

2. The maximum holding of savings certificates is hereby increased from six hundred and twenty-five unit certificates to one thousand two hundred and fifty unit certificates and the Savings Certificates Rules, 1926, as amended by subsection (1) of section 30 of the Finance Act, 1940 (No. 14 of 1940), shall have effect accordingly.

3. The Savings Certificates (Maximum Holding) Rules, 1947 ( S. R. & O. No. 203 of 1947 ), are hereby revoked.
