VOCATIONAL EDUCATION ACT, 1930 (GRANTS UNDER SECTION 109) REGULATIONS, 1939 (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1948.

I, RISTEÁRD UA MAOLCHATHA, Minister for Education, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 109 of the Vocational Education Act, 1930 (No. 29 of 1930), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby, with the consent of the Minister for Finance, make the following regulations :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Vocational Education Act, 1930 (Grants under section 109) Regulations, 1939 (Amendment) Regulations, 1948.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

3. (1) Regulation 7 of the Vocational Education Act, 1930 (Grants under section 109) Regulations, 1939 ( S. R. & O. No. 386 of 1939 ), is hereby amended by the substitution of " five pence " for " three-pence " in paragraph (2) and paragraph (3).

(2) Paragraph (1) of this Regulation shall have effect as respects the current academic year and every subsequent academic year.
