S.I. No. 20 of 1948.

INFECTIOUS DISEASES (TEMPORARY PROVISIONS) REGULATIONS, 1948

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 29 of the Health Act, 1947 , hereby makes the following regulations :—

1. These regulations may be cited as the Infectious Diseases (Temporary Provisions) Regulations, 1948.

2. Each of the diseases specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby specified to be an infectious disease.

3. These regulations shall come into operation on the first day of March, 1948.

SCHEDULE.

INFECTIOUS DISEASES.

Tuberculosis.

Acute anterior poliomyelitis.

Typhoid.

Diphtheria.

Para Typhoid A.

Para Typhoid B.

Typhus fever.
