HAIRDRESSING SHOPS (HOURS OF TRADING ON WEEKDAYS) (URBAN DISTRICT OF DUNDALK) ORDER, 1948.

The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 25 of the Shops (Hours of Trading) Act, 1938 (No. 3 of 1938), and after due compliance with subsection (1) of section 4 of the said Act, hereby orders as follows :

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Hairdressing Shops (Hours of Trading on Weekdays) (Urban District of Dundalk) Order, 1948.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 19th day of January, 1948.

2. The Urban District of Dundalk shall be a trading area for the purpose of this Order.

3. In this Order the expression " shop to which this Order applies " means any shop situate in the trading area for the purpose of this Order, in which there is carried on the business of hairdressing, whether any other business is or is not carried on in the shop.

4. The proprietor of a shop to which this Order applies shall not open or keep open the shop for the serving of customers—

(a) on any Saturday, before the hour of 9 a.m. or after the hour of 10 p.m.

(b) on any other weekday, before the hour of 9.a.m. or after the hour of 7 p.m.
