BINDER TWINE (SUSPENSION OF CUSTOMS DUTY) ORDER, 1947.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as Binder Twince (Suspension of Customs Duty) Order, 1947.

2. The operation of section 10 of the Finance Act, 1935 (No. 28 of 1935), in so far as it relates to the duy mentioned at reference number 14 of the First Schedule to the said Act as amended by the Emergency Imposition of Duties (No. 171) Order, 1939 ( S. R. & O. No. 13 of 1939 ), (being a duty on certain binder twine and yarns) is hereby suspended as on and from the 31st day of December, 1947.
