UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE( SPECIAL BENEFIT) REGULATIONS, 1947.

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the power conferred on him by section 13 of the Unemployment Insurance Act, 1946 (No. 37 of 1946), as adapted by the Social Welfare (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) (No. 1) Order, 1947 (S. R. & O., No. 18 of 1947), hereby makes the following regulations :

1. These regulations may be cited as the Unemployment Insurance (Special Benefit) Regulations, 1947.

2. The manner of claim for special benefit shall be as follows—

The claimant shall—

(a) deliver his British unemployment book to an officer of the Department of Social Welfare, and

(b) make a claim in the form set out in the Schedule hereto or in such other manner as the Minister may direct or may accept as sufficient in any special case.

(iii) Unemployment Benefit under the Unemployment Insurance Acts, 1920 to 1945

(iv) Out-of-Work Benefit under the Insurance Industry (Unemployment Insurance) Scheme.
