SALE OF DISEASED PLANTS (IRELAND) ORDER, 1922 (SECOND AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1946.

I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the joint operation of the Destructive Insects and Pests Acts, 1877 to 1929, and the Agriculture Act, 1931 (No. 8 of 1931), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :—

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Sale of Diseased Plants (Ireland) Order, 1922 (Second Amendment) Order, 1946.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 2nd day of December, 1946.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Sale of Diseased Plants (Ireland) Order, 1922, as amended by the Sale of Diseased Plants (Ireland) Order, 1922 (First Amendment) Order, 1943, is hereby further amended by the addition to the Fruit and other Tree Pests specified in the Schedule to the said Order of the following :—

American Gooseberry Mildew (Sphaerotheca mors-uvae) ; Black Currant Mite (Eriophyes ribis), otherwise Big Bud.
