STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1946. No. 319.

CENSORSHIP OF FILMS ACT, 1923 (FEES) ORDER, 1944 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1946.

I, GERALD BOLAND, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 11 of the Censorship of Films Act, 1923 (No. 23 of 1923), hereby order as follows :

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Censorship of Films Act, 1923 (Fees) Order, 1944 (Amendment) Order, 1946.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 15th day of September, 1946.

2. Paragraph 1 of the Schedule to the Censorship of Films Act, 1923 (Fees) Order, 1944 ( S. R. & O. No. 143 of 1944 ), is hereby amended by the deletion of subparagraph (b) and the substitution therefor of the following subparagraph :

"(b) in the case of any other film (not being in the opinion of the Official Censor, of an educational nature), a fee of 1/5d. per foot of film."
