NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE (REPAYMENT OF COMPENSATION LOAN) REGULATIONS, 1946.

FRANCIS CONSTANTINE WARD, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, in exercise of the powers vested in the said Minister by the National Health Insurance Acts, 1911-1942, and by virtue of the Local Government and Public Health (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1945, by this his Order makes the following Regulations, that is to say :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Insurance (Repayment of Compensation Loan) Regulations, 1946.

2. In these Regulations—

the expression " the Society " means Cumann an Arachais Náisiúnta ar Shláinte.

3. In respect of moneys advanced by the Minister for Local Government and Public Health out of the National Health Insurance Fund under section 24 of the National Health Insurance Act, 1933 (No. 13 of 1933), to meet the payment of compensation

(a) the Society shall pay interest for the year 1946 at the rate of four per cent. per annum being the rate determined by the Minister for Finance,

(b) the Society shall repay as at 1st April, 1946, the sum of £27,000.
