KILLESHIN NATIONAL MONUMENT (PROHIBITION OF BURIALS) ORDER, 1946.

THE COMMISSIONERS OF PUBLIC WORKS IN IRELAND.

THE NATIONAL MONUMENTS ACT, 1930 .

WHEREAS WE, THE COMMISSIONERS OF PUBLIC WORKS IN IRELAND, are Owners of the National Monument known as the Ruins of the Church of Killeshin situate in the Burial Ground at Killeshin, in the Townland of Killeshin, Parish of Killeshin, Barony of Slievemargy, and County of Laoighis, which said National Monument is shown on the Map hereunto annexed and which said National Monument is an ecclesiastical building.

AND WHEREAS WE as such Owners think it necessary to prohibit the burial of remains of deceased persons in the precincts of said National Monument as hereinafter specified.

NOW THEREFORE WE, THE COMMISSIONERS OF PUBLIC WORKS IN IRELAND, acting in pursuance and by virtue of the powers vested in US for that purpose by Section 17 of the National Monuments Act, 1930 , and all other powers enabling us DO HEREBY ORDER that from and after the date hereof no remains of deceased persons shall be buried in the precincts of said National Monument as indicated by the letters " A," " B," " C," " D," " E," " F," and " G," " H," " I," " J," on the map annexed hereto which said Map and the measurements indicated thereon shall be deemed to be part of this Order.

This Order may be cited as The Killeshin National Monument (Prohibition of Burials) Order, 1946.
