BY-LAW No. C.S. 97. No. 102 or BANGOR DISTRICT.

Close Season for Netting.

I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers now exercisable by me under the Fisheries Acts, 1842 to 1944, and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby make the following By-Law, that is to say :—

1. This By-Law may be cited as the Bangor District Netting By-Law No. C.S. 97, 1945.

2. This By-Law shall come into operation on the 1st February, 1945.

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937) applies to this By-Law.

4. So much of any By-Law at present in force as governs the Annual Close Season for the taking of salmon or trout in the No. 102 or Bangor District by engines other than single rod and line shall cease.

5. There shall be kept and observed as the Annual Close Season for the taking of salmon or trout by engines other than single rod and line in each portion of the No. 102 or Bangor District specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto the period set forth in the second column of the said Schedule opposite the mention of such portion.

SCHEDULE.

Portion of No. 10 2 or Bangor District.

Annual Close Season (all days inclusive).

Newport and Burrishoole Rivers and their common Estuary.

1st September to 19th March.

Glenamoy River and Estuary

16th September to 30th April.

All other portions of the Bangor Fishery District.

1st September to 15th February.
