Minister For Supplies (Transfer of Functions) Act, 1945

Saving for statutory instruments made or given by, and acts done by, the Minister for Supplies.

9.—(1) Nothing in this Act shall affect the validity of any statutory instrument which, before the appointed day, was duly made or given by or on behalf of the Minister for Supplies, and every such statutory instrument shall, if and in so far as it was operative immediately before the appointed day, have effect, on and after the appointed day, as if it had been duly made or given by or on behalf of the Minister for Industry and Commerce.

(2) Nothing in this Act shall affect the validity of any act which, before the appointed day, was duly done by or on behalf of the Minister for Supplies, but every such act, shall if and in so far as it was operative immediately before the appointed day, have effect, on and after the appointed day, as if it had been duly done by or on behalf of the Minister for Industry and Commerce.
