Amendment of section 2 of the Principal Act. |
2.—(1) Subsection (1) of section 2 of the Principal Act shall, as respects the bonus payable, in respect of any period beginning on or after the 1st day of January, 1945, to an officer or servant of a local authority to whom that subsection applies, have effect as if the words “the figure which exceeds by twenty-five” were inserted after the words “greater than”. | |
(2) Subsection (2) of section 2 of the Principal Act shall, as respects the bonus payable, in respect of any period beginning on or after the 1st day of January, 1945, to an officer or servant of a local authority to whom that subsection applies, have effect as if the words “the figure which exceeds by twenty-five” were inserted after the words “greater figure than”. | ||
(3) The references, in subsection (3) of section 2 of the Principal Act, to subsections (1) and (2) of the said section 2 shall be construed as a reference to the said subsections (1) and (2) as respectively amended by the preceding subsections of this section. | ||
(4) The references, in subsection (4) of section 2 of the Principal Act, to subsections (1), (2) and (3) of the said section 2 shall be construed as references to the said subsections (1), (2) and (3) as amended by the preceding subsections of this section. |
