BY-LAW No. 454. No. 91 or GALWAY DISTRICT.

Clarinbridge Oyster Beds.

I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers now exercisable by me under the Fisheries Acts, 1842 to 1944, and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby make the following By-Law, that is to say :—

1. This By-Law may be cited as the Clarinbridge Oyster By-Law No. 454, 1944.

2. This By-Law shall come into force on the 1st day of November, 1944.

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this By-Law.

4. It is prohibited to take oysters from the public oyster beds situated in the combined estuaries of the Clarinbridge and Kilcolgan Rivers lying to the East or landward side of an imaginary straight line drawn from Corraduff Quay in the Townland of Ballynacourty to the northern end of the townland boundary separating the Townlands of Tyrone and Stradbally West, all in the County of Galway, by any means other than by the use of a dredge or net fished from a boat.

5. Each and every person offending against this By-Law shall forfeit and pay for each offence a sum not exceeding Five Pounds.
