WILD BIRDS (COUNTY DUBLIN) ORDER, 1943.

WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Wild Birds Protection Act, 1930 (No. 16 of 1930) that the Minister for Justice may by order made on the application of the council of a county prohibit, for reasons stated in such application, the taking or destroying in any particular years in such county of the eggs of any particular kinds of wild bird :

AND WHEREAS the Council of the County of Dublin has applied to the Minister for Justice for an order prohibiting the taking or destroying in the years 1944, 1945, and 1946 in the County of Dublin (including the islands of Lambay and Ireland's Eye) of the eggs of any of the wild birds mentioned in the First and Second Schedules to the Wild Birds Protection Act, 1930 , for the reason that such an order is necessary in order to prevent the extermination of those birds :

NOW, I, GERALD BOLAND, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Wild Birds Protection Act, 1930 (No. 16 of 1930), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling and for the reason that this Order is necessary in order to prevent the extermination of the wild birds concerned, hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Wild Birds (County Dublin) Order, 1943.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. No person shall take or destroy in the years 1944, 1945 and 1946 in any part of the County of Dublin (including the islands of Lambay and Ireland's Eye) the eggs of any of the wild birds mentioned in the First and Second Schedules to the Wild Birds Protection Act, 1930 (No. 16 of 1930).
