BANKERS' LICENCES REGULATIONS, 1942.

The Revenue Commissioners in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by Section 47 of the Central Bank Act, 1942 (No. 22 of 1942) and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling do hereby with the consent of the Minister for Finance make the following Regulations, that is to say :—

1. These regulations may be cited for all purposes as "Bankers' Licences Regulations, 1942".

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937) applies to the interpretation of these Regulations.

3. Applications for Licences and Renewal Licences, and the Licences to be issued by the Revenue Commissioners shall be in the forms set forth in the Schedule hereto.

4. The duty of one pound chargeable on a Banker's Licence by virtue of Section 21 (1) of the Finance Act, 1942 , shall be denoted on the Licence by an impressed stamp.

SCHEDULE.

APPLICATION FOR A BANKER'S LICENCE PURSUANT TO SUBSECTION (3) OF SECTION 47 of THE CENTRAL BANK ACT, 1942 .

To the Revenue Commissioners,

I, the undersigned, being a duly authorised Officer, hereby apply on behalf of............................................................ .................................................... for a licence to carry on banking business from the date of the issue of such licence until the next following 31st day of December.

NOTE—A remittance of £1, the stamp duty chargeable on the licence ( Section 21 (1) of the Finance Act, 1942 ) should accompany this application.

APPLICATION FOR A BANKER'S LICENCE (RENEWAL) PURSUANT TO SUB-SECTION (5) OF SECTION 47 of THE CENTRAL BANK ACT, 1942 .

To the Revenue Commissioners,

Dublin Castle.

I, the undersigned, being a duly authorised Officer, hereby apply on behalf of............................................................ ..................................................for a renewal license to carry on banking business from the 1st day of January, 19 until the 31st day of December, 19 .
