CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 36, TWELFTH PERIOD) ORDER, 1941.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 and 1937, and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 36, Twelfth Period) Order, 1941.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The period beginning on the 1st day of December, 1941, and ending on the 31st day of May, 1942, is hereby appointed to be the twelfth quota period under the Control of Imports (Quota No. 36) Order, 1937 ( S. R. & O. No. 314 of 1937 ) (which relates to certain laminated springs and certain component parts of laminated springs).

4. A quantity equal in value to one thousand pounds of articles to which the Control or Imports (Quota No. 36) Order, 1937, applies shall be the quota in respect of the said twelfth quota period.
