STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1941. No. 389.

CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 4, EIGHTEENTH PERIOD) ORDER, 1941.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Act, 1934 and 1937, and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 4, Eighteenth Period) Order, 1941.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The period beginning on the 1st day of October, 1941, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1942, is hereby appointed to be the eighteenth quota period under the Control of Imports (Quota No. 4) Order, 1934 (which relates to certain rubber boots and shoes).

4. A total amounting to three hundred thousand articles to which the Control of Imports (Quota No. 4) Order, 1934, applies shall be the quota in respect of the said eighteenth quota period.
