STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1940. No. 265.

THE EXPORTED LIVE STOCK (INSURANCE) ACT, 1940 (ESTABLISHMENT DATE) ORDER, 1940.

WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (1) of Section 2 of the Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940 (No. 25 of 1940), that the Minister for Agriculture shall by order appoint such day as he thinks fit to be the establishment date for the purposes of that Act :

NOW, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sub-section (1) of Section 2 of the Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940 (No. 25 of 1940), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940 (Establishment Date) Order, 1940.

2. The 13th day of July, 1940, is hereby appointed to be the establishment date for the purposes of the Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940 (No. 25 of 1940).
