CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 11) (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1938.

WHEREAS it is enacted by section 11 of the Control of Imports Act, 1934 (No. 12 of 1934), as adapted in consequence of the enactment of the Constitution, that the Government may at any time by order revoke any quota order or other order previously made under the said Act :

AND WHEREAS the Control of Imports (Quota No. 11) Order, 1934 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 379 of 1934), and the Control of Imports (Quota No. 11, Fifth Period) Order, 1937 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 332 of 1937), were made under the Control of Imports Act, 1934 , on the 21st day of December, 1934, and the 24th day of December, 1937, respectively :

NOW, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 11 of the Control of Imports Act, 1934 (No. 12 of 1934), as adapted in consequence of the enactment of the Constitution, and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 11) (Revocation) Order, 1938.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Control of Imports (Quota No. 11) Order, 1934 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 379 of 1934), and the Control of Imports (Quota No. 11, Fifth Period) Order, 1937 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 332 of 1937), are hereby revoked as on and from the 19th day of May, 1938.
