MILK AND DAIRIES (GENERAL DESIGNATIONS) REGULATIONS, 1938.

The Minister for Local Government and Public Health in exercise of the power conferred on him by Section 38 of the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 , after consultation with the Minister for Agriculture, hereby makes the following regulations, that is to say:—

1.— These regulations may be cited as the Milk and Dairies (General Designations) Regulations, 1938.

2.— The Interpretation Act, 1937 , applies to these regulations.

3.— In connection with milk offered or exposed for sale the word "milk" or the expression "new milk" or the expression "fresh milk" may be used without obtaining a special designation licence and the said word and each of the said expressions shall be general designations within the meaning of Section 38 of the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 .
