RETAIL PRICES (DISPLAY) (No. 1) ORDER, 1938 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1938.

WHEREAS it is enacted by subsection (3) of section 42 of the Control of Prices Act, 1937 (No. 26 of 1937), that the Minister for Industry and Commerce may by order under the said sub-section revoke or amend a retail prices (display) order:

NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the power conferred on him by subsection (3) of section 42 of the Control of Prices Act, 1937 (No. 26 of 1937), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows:—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Retail Prices (Display) (No. 1) Order, 1938 (Amendment) Order, 1938.

(2) This Order shall come into force on the 6th day of June, 1938.

2.—In this order the expression "the Principal Order" means the Retail Prices (Display) (No. 1) Order, 1938 (Statutory Rules and Orders No. 83 of 1938).

3.—The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

4.—(1) The Principal Order shall come into force on the 6th day of June, 1938.

(2) Paragraph (2) of Article 1 of the Principal Order is hereby revoked.

5.—The First Schedule to the Principal Order is hereby amended in the following respects, and the said order shall be construed and have effect accordingly, that is to say:—

(a) by the insertion in paragraph 2 of the said Schedule of the word "Galway" before the word "Kilkenny"; and

(b) by the deletion in paragraph 3 of the said Schedule of the word "Galway".
