THE CORK MILLING COMPANY RAILWAY ACT, 1935, REGULATIONS, 1937.

THE CORK MILLING COMPANY RAILWAY ACT, 1935 , REGULATIONS, 1937, MADE BY THE MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE UNDER THE CORK MILLING COMPANY RAILWAY ACT, 1935 (No. 3 (Private) of 1935).

By virtue of the powers conferred on him by section 10 of the Cork Milling Company Railway Act, 1935 , the Minister for Industry and Commerce hereby makes the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited for all purposes as the Cork Milling Company Railway Act, 1935 , Regulations, 1937.

2. In these Regulations the expression "the railway" means the railway or siding authorised by the Cork Milling Company Railway Act, 1935 .

3. Subject to the exceptions hereinafter mentioned, the speed at which locomotives or other vehicles shall be driven or propelled over the railway shall not exceed the rate of five miles per hour.

4. Where the railway is laid along or across and on the level of any public street the speed at which locomotives or other vehicles shall be driven or propelled over the railway shall not exceed that at which a man can walk and every such locomotive or other vehicle shall be preceded by a man walking ten yards in front and displaying a red flag by day and a red lamp by night.

5. Every locomotive and every other vehicle shall be brought to a standstill when necessary to avoid impending danger.

6. The number of vehicles comprising any train shall not exceed twenty.
