IMPORTED BUTTER (LEVY) (No. 2) ORDER, 1937.

WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 26 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), that the Minister for Agriculture may from time to time by order make regulations prescribing the rates of levy under Part IV of the said Act on imported butter (and may at any time by order revoke or amend any such order) :

NOW, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 26 of the Dáiry Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do by this order make the following regulations :—

1. This order may be cited as the Imported Butter (Levy) (No. 2) Order, 1937.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. The Imported Butter (Levy) Order, 1937, is revoked as on and from the 1st day of March, 1937.

4. (a) The rate of levy on imported butter shall be at the rate of forty-eight shillings and ninepence the hundredweight.

(b) The rate of levy mentioned in and prescribed by this paragraph shall come into force as on and from the 2nd day of March, 1937.
