26/03/1936: Local Loans Fund Act, 1935 - Certificate Under S. 6


CERTIFICATE. UNDER SECTION 6 OF THE LOCAL LOANS FUND ACT, 1935.

WHEREAS by Section 6 of the Local Loans Fund Act, 1935 (No. 16 of 1935), the Minister for Finance is required to determine, as soon as conveniently may be after the day which is the appointed day for the purposes of that Act, the amount which (subject to the provisions of that section) is equivalent to the aggregate value of certain sums mentioned in sub-section (1) of the said section, and the said Minister is further required by the said section to make and issue, immediately upon the completion of such determination, a certificate stating the amount so determined by him:

AND WHEREAS the 1st day of May, 1935, was the appointed day for the purposes of the said Act:

AND WHEREAS the Minister for Finance has duly made the determination required by the said section to be made by him:

NOW, the Minister for Finance, in pursuance of the said Section 6 of the Local Loans Fund Act, 1935 (No. 16 of 1935), hereby certifies that the amount which has been determined by him, in pursuance of the said section, to be equivalent (subject to the provisions of the said section) to the aggregate value of the sums mentioned in sub-section (1) of the said section is £11,922,194 11s 4d. (eleven million, nine hundred and twenty-two thousand, one hundred and ninety-four pounds, eleven shillings and four pence).
