STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1936. No. 182.

CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 30) (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1936.

WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 11 of the Control of Imports Act, 1934 (No. 12 of 1934), that the Executive Council may at any time by order amend or revoke any quota or other order previously made under the said Act, including an order made under the said Section 11 amending a previous order :

AND WHEREAS on the 28th day of February, 1936, the Executive Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 3 of the said Act, made the Control of Imports (Quota No. 30) Order, 1936 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 58 of 1936) :

AND WHEREAS on the 26th day of May, 1936, the Executive Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 6 of the said Act, made the Control of Imports (Quota No. 30, Second Period) Order, 1936 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 155 of 1936) :

NOW, the Executive Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 11 of the Control of Imports Act, 1934 (No. 12 of 1934), and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 30) (Revocation) Order, 1936.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. The following orders (which relate to cement) are hereby revoked as on and from the 1st day of July, 1936, that is to say, the Control of Imports (Quota No. 30) Order, 1936 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 58 of 1936), and the Control of Imports (Quota No. 30, Second Period) Order, 1936 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 155 of 1936).
