BACON AND PIGS (QUOTA) (No. 6) ORDER, 1936.

I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 2 of the Agricultural Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1933 (No. 26 of 1933), as amended by the Agricultural Products (Regulation of Export) (Amendment) Act, 1935 (No. 15 of 1935), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Bacon and Pigs (Quota) (No. 6) Order, 1936.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. For the purposes of the Bacon and Pigs (Regulation of Export) Order, 1933, the following provisions shall have effect, that is to say—

(a) the month of June, 1936, shall be a quota period;

(b) 37,200 hundredweights of bacon shall be the bacon quota in respect of the said quota period;

(c) 1,545 pigs shall be the pig quota in respect of the said quota period;

(d) 133 hundredweights of pig carcases shall be the carcase quota in respect of the said quota period.
