STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1936. No. 127.

CANNED BEEF SUPPLY (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1936.

WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (4) of Section 21 of the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep (Amendment) Act, 1935 (No. 37 of 1935), that the Minister for Agriculture may at any time revoke or amend any order made by him under the said Section 21 :

AND WHEREAS the Canned Beef Supply Order, 1935 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 600 of 1935), was made by the Minister for Agriculture under the said Section 21 :

NOW, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sub-section (4) of Section 21 of the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep (Amendment) Act, 1935 (No. 37 of 1935), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Canned Beef Supply (Amendment) Order, 1936.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. The Schedule to the Canned Beef Supply Order, 1935 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 600 of 1935), is hereby amended by the insertion therein of the words " Kincasslagh, Maghery, Meenbanad " after the word " Lettermacaward, " and the said Schedule and also paragraph 6 of the said order shall be construed and have effect accordingly.
