CONTROL OF PRICES (SCHEDULED COMMODITY) (FURNITURE) ORDER, 1935.

WHEREAS it is enacted by subsection (2) of Section 3 of the Control of Prices Act, 1932 (No. 33 of 1932), that the Executive Council may by order under the said section declare any commodity of common use to be a scheduled commodity for the purposes of the said Act:

NOW, the Executive Council, in exercise of the power conferred on them by Section 3 of the Control of Prices Act, 1932 (No. 33 of 1932), and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Prices (Scheduled Commodity) (Furniture) Order, 1935.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. Every commodity which is used as furniture is hereby declared to be a scheduled commodity for the purposes of the Control of Prices Act, 1932 (No. 33 of 1932).
