STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1935. No. 644.

WHEY (CONCENTRATION OR CONDENSATION) ORDER, 1935.

WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (1) of Section 5 of the Creamery (Amendment) Act, 1934 (No. 33 of 1934), that the Minister for Agriculture may by order declare that the said Section 5 shall apply to any specified description of business which consists wholly or substantially of the working, finishing, or otherwise making available for sale of any specified milk product or by-product:

NOW, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 5 of the Creamery (Amendment) Act, 1934 (No. 33 of 1934), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Whey (Concentration or Condensation) Order, 1935.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. Section 5 of the Creamery (Amendment) Act, 1934 (No. 33 of 1934), shall apply to every business which consists wholly or substantially of the working, finishing, or otherwise making available for sale (whether by condensation or by concentration or by a combination of those processes) of the milk product or by-product known as whey.
