THE RATES ON AGRICULTURAL LAND (CERTIFICATE) ORDER, 1935.

DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH.

THE RATES ON AGRICULTURAL LAND (RELIEF) ACT, 1935 .

The Minister for Local Government and Public Health in exercise of the powers vested in him by Section 5 of the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1935 , does by this his Order certify as follows, that is to say :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Rates on Agricultural Land (Certificate) Order, 1935.

2.—(1) In this Order the expression " the Act of 1935 " means the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1935 .

(2) The Interpretation Act, 1923 , applies to the interpretation of this Order as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3.—(1) The rate in the pound in the valuation for the financial year, which began on the 1st day of April, 1933, of all agricultural land in each of the counties, the names of which are set out in Column I of the Schedule to this Order to which the aggregate of the grants specified in sub-paragraphs (i), (ii) and (iii) of paragraph (a) of subsection (I) of Section 5 of the Act of 1935, is equivalent is hereby certified to be the rate set out in Column II of the said Schedule opposite to the name of each such county.

(2) The rate in the pound on that portion of the valuation of all the agricultural land in each of the counties the names of which are set out in Column I of the Schedule to this Order which was specified valuation within the meaning of the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1933 , to which the grant payable to each such county under the Act is equivalent is hereby certified to be the rate set out in Column III of the said Schedule opposite to the name of each such county.
