THE STATISTICS (CENSUS OF PRODUCTION) ORDER, 1935.

WHEREAS it is provided by Clause 3 of the Statistics (Census of Production) Order, 1932 dated the 1st July, 1932 hereinafter referred to as " the said Order " that statistics shall be collected by means of prescribed forms which shall be transmitted by post on or before the 15th day of January in each year to all persons by whom returns are to be made or information is to be given in respect of the preceding year, and shall be returned duly filled up and completed by such persons by post, on or before the 1st day of March following :

AND WHEREAS it is expedient to amend Clause 3 of the said Order for the purposes of the collection of statistics in respect of the year 1934 :

NOW, therefore, the Minister for Industry and Commerce, in pursuance of the powers conferred on him by sub-section (1) of Section 16 of the Statistics Act, 1926 , and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, does hereby order :—

1. For the purposes of the collection of statistics pursuant to the said Order in respect of the year 1934 Clause 3 of the said Order shall be amended as follows, that is to say, by the substitution of the expression " 31st day of January " for the expression " 15th day of January " and by the substitution of the expression " 16th day of March " for the expression " 1st day of March ", and the said Clause 3 shall for the said purposes be construed and have effect accordingly.

2. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Statistics (Census of Production) Order, 1935.
