TIDAL AND FRESHWATER BOUNDARIES OF THE RIVER ERNE AND THE ABBEY RIVER.

I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me by the Fisheries Act, 1925 , the Fisheries (Re-distribution of Public Services) Order, 1934, and of every other power enabling me in this behalf, do hereby define and mark out the boundaries between the tidal and freshwater portions of the following rivers :—

RIVER ERNE—A line drawn across the river along the face or furthest downstream portion of the Falls of Assaroe, in the town of Ballyshannon.

ABBEY RIVER—A straight line drawn across the river at right angles to its course 160 yards downstream (measured in a straight line) from the western face of the bridge at the end of Abbey Lane, in the town of Ballyshannon.

GIVEN under my Seal of Office this 3rd day of May, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Thirty-four.

The Fisheries Act, 1925 , provides that any person aggrieved by this By-law, may, within one fortnight after the date of this publication, appeal against the same in accordance with Order XXVII of the Rules of the High Court and Supreme Court.
