TIDAL AND FRESHWATER DEFINITIONS OF RIVERS OWENEA AND OWENTOCKER.

I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me by the Fisheries Act, 1925 , the Fisheries (Re-distribution of Public Services) Order, 1934, and of every other power enabling me in this behalf, do hereby define and mark out the boundaries between the tidal and freshwater portions of the following rivers :—

RIVER OWENEA—A straight line drawn across the river at right angles to its course 175 yards down stream (measured in a straight line) from the western face of the southern abutment of the Owenea Bridge.

RIVER OWENTOCKER—A straight line drawn across the river at right angles to its course at the downstream end of the rocks forming the southern side of the narrow gorge below the waterfall at Ardara.

GIVEN under my Seal of Office this 3rd day of May, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Thirty-four.

Note A.—The Fisheries Act, 1925 , provides that any person aggrieved by this By-law, may, within one fortnight after the date of this publication, appeal against the same in accordance with Order XXVII of the Rules of the High Court and Supreme Court.
