CREAMERY BUTTER (PROHIBITION OF EXPORT) ORDER, 1933.

WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (1) of section 27 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1932 (No. 10 of 1932), that whenever and so often as the Minister for Agriculture is satisfied that sufficient butter is not being retained in Saorstát Eireann to meet home requirements, he may by order prohibit the export of butter generally or butter of a specified class;

AND WHEREAS the Minister for Agriculture is satisfied that sufficient butter is not being retained in Saorstát Eireann to meet home requirements.

NOW I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sub-section (1) of section 27 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1932 (No. 10 of 1932), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows:—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Creamery Butter (Prohibition of Export) Order, 1933.

(2) This Order shall come into force on the 23rd day of September, 1933.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923) applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. The export of creamery butter is hereby prohibited.
