BY-LAW No. 414No. 2 or WEXFORD DISTRICT

RIVER SLANEY

I, FIONÁN Ó LOINGSIGH, Minister for Lands and Fisheries, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me by the Fisheries Act, 1925 , and of every other power enabling me in this behalf, DO MAKE AND ORDAIN THE FOLLOWING BY-LAW :—

(1) So much of the By-Law dated the 28th December, 1893, as permits the use of Nets with meshes of one-and-a-half inches from knot to knot (or six inches to be measured all round each such mesh, such measurements being taken in the clear when the net is wet), for the capture of salmon or trout in the tidal waters of the River Slaney and its Tributaries is hereby revoked.

(2) This By-Law shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1933.

(3) The Interpretation Act, 1923 , applies to the interpretation of this By-Law in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

(4) This By-Law may be cited for all purposes as the River Slaney By-Law No. 414, 1932.
