STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1932. No. 115.

DISTRICT PROBATE REGISTRIES (COLLECTION OF FEES) ORDER, 1932.

WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 2 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, as adapted by or under the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922), that the fees payable in any public office shall be collected either in money or by means of stamps or partly in one way and partly in the other way, according as may be from time to time directed by order of the Minister for Finance:

AND WHEREAS every District Probate Registry is a public office within the meaning of the said Act:

NOW, Therefore, the Minister for Finance in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 2 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, as adapted by or under the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922), and of any and every other power him in this behalf enabling hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the District Probate Registries (Collection of Fees) Order, 1932.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1889, applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas passed before the 1st day of January, 1924.

3. This Order applies to the District Probate Registries at Cork, Limerick, Waterford, Kilkenny and Cavan, respectively.

4. The fees payable under any Statute or Rule of Court in each of the District Probate Registries to which this Order applies shall be collected by means of stamps.

5. All Orders heretofore made under Section 2 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, in relation to any District Probate Registry to which this Order applies and in force immediately before the coming into operation of this Order shall upon the coming into operation of this Order cease to have effect in relation to such District Probate Registry.

6. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1933.
