THE UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE ACT, 1930.(DATE OF OPERATION) ORDER 1930.

THE UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE ACT, 1930 (DATE OF OPERATION) ORDER, 1930, MADE ON THE 29th DAY OF DECEMBER, 1930, BY THE MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE UNDER THE UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE ACT, 1930 .

WHEREAS it is provided by sub-section (2) of section 5 of the Unemployment Insurance Act, 1930 , that that Act shall come into operation on such day as shall be fixed for that purpose by an order of the Minister for Industry and Commerce.

NOW therefore I, Patrick McGilligan, the Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sub-section (2) of section 5 of the Unemployment Insurance Act, 1930 , and of all other powers in that behalf me enabling, do hereby order as follows, that is to say—

(1) The Unemployment Insurance Act, 1930 , shall come into operation on the 5th day of January, 1931.

(2) This order may be cited for all purposes as the Unemployment Insurance Act, 1930 (date of operation) Order, 1930.
