1930. No. 95.ORDER OF THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNICAL INSTRUCTION FOR IRELAND.

THE PORTAL INSPECTION ORDER OF 1924 AMENDMENT ORDER OF 1930.

The Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction for Ireland by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in them under the joint operation of the Agriculture and Technical Instruction (Ireland) Act, 1899, the Diseases of Animals Acts, 1894 to 1914, and of every other power enabling them in this behalf, do, with the concurrence of the Minister for Agriculture, hereby order :—

1.- On and after the date hereof the premises described in the Schedule to this Order shall be deemed to be included in the places of inspection at Cork Port described in the First Schedule to the Portal Inspection Order of 1924, and the provisions of that Order shall be read and have effect accordingly. Provided that the use of the said premises as a place of inspection shall, during the period of operation of this Order, be subject to the following conditions, viz. :—

(1) that a direct opening shall be provided from the said premises into the premises at Cork of the City of Cork Steam Packet Company (Limited) described in the First Schedule to the Portal Inspection Order of 1924,

(2) that all other entrances into the said premises shall be kept securely closed, and

(3) that the said premises shall be cleansed and disinfected in accordance with the requirements of Article 22 of the Transit of Animals Order, 1927.

2.- This Order may be cited as " The Portal Inspection Order of 1924. Amendment Order of 1930."

SCHEDULE.

The premises known as the Rest Lairage for Live Stock belonging to the City of Cork Steam Packet Company (Limited), and immediately adjoining the North East Wall of the City of Cork Steam Packet Company's Stock Yard, situate at Penrose Quay, Cork, and .in the North East Ward, in the City of Cork, having entrance and exit through the gateway opening into the said Stock Yard.
