LOCAL OFFICES AND EMPLOYMENTS (AMENDMENT)ORDER, 1929.

THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT (TEMPORARY PROVISIONS) ACT, 1923 .

WHEREAS by the Local Offices and Employments Order, 1924 (hereinafter referred to as "the Principal Order"), as amended by the Local Offices and Employments (Amendment) Order, 1924, the Minister for Local Government and Public Health did, in pursuance of Section 15 of the Local Government (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 , apply the provisions of the said section to the offices and employments set out in the Schedule to the Principal Order, as amended as aforesaid, and did make certain regulations with respect to the said offices and employments:

AND WHEREAS it is expedient to exclude from the operation of the Principal Order the office or employment hereinafter mentioned:

NOW THEREFORE, the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, in exercise of the powers vested in him by Section 15 of the Local Government (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 , and of all other powers in this behalf enabling him, does, by this his Order, order and direct as follows, that is to say:—

1. The provisions of the Principal Order shall as from the date hereof cease to apply to the office or employment of Sheep Dipping Inspector under the Diseases of Animals (Ireland) Acts, 1894 to 1914.

2. This Order may be cited and referred to as the Local Offices and Employments (Amendment) Order, 1929.
