NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE (ARREARS) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS (No. 2), 1929.

Regulations dated 23rd August, 1929, made by the Irish Insurance Commissioners with the concurrence of the Minister for Local Government and Public Health under the National Health Insurance Acts, 1911 to 1928.

The Irish Insurance Commissioners, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the National Health Insurance Acts, 1911 to 1928, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, do hereby, with the concurrence of the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, make the following Regulations:—

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Insurance (Arrears) Amendment Regulations (No. 2), 1929, and these Regulations and the Regulations referred to in Article 1 of the National Health Insurance (Arrears) Amendment Regulations, 1929 (S.R. & O. 1929, No. 1) may be cited together as the National Health Insurance (Arrears) Regulations, 1921 to 1929.

(2) The Interpretation Act, 1889, as modified and adapted by or under the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922), applies to the interpretation of these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Oireachtas.

2.—(1) Article 11 (1) of the National Health Insurance (Arrears) Regulations, 1921 (hereinafter referred to as "the Principal Regulations") shall have effect as if the words "the 30th day of November" were substituted for the words " the 31st day of October."

(2) Article 12 of the Principal Regulations shall have effect as if the words "the 1st day of October" were substituted for the word, "the 1st day of September."

(3) Article 18 (1) of the Principal Regulations shall have effect as if the words "the 30th day of November" were substituted for the words "the 31st day of October."

3.—These Regulations shall be deemed to come into operation and to have effect as from the 8th July, 1929.
