WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY ACT, 1926.

REGULATIONS IN REGARD TO WIRELESS RECEIVING LICENCES (No. 2), 1927.

1. I, Séamus Breathnach, Minister for Posts and Telegraphs, in pursuance of Section 6 of the Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1926 , do hereby make the following regulations :

A licencé for the possession of wireless receiving apparatus may be issued without payment of any fee to any blind person, who does not reside in a public or charitable institution, or in a school. Every applicant for such licence shall furnish a certificate from a local Pension Officer, or from the County or County Borough Council for the area in which the applicant resides that he is registered as a blind person.

3. The fee for a licence for the possession of portable wireless receiving apparatus for use at any place within Saorstát Eireann shall be 10/-a year. Such a licence shall only be issued to a person who already holds an ordinary licence for the possession of apparatus for wireless telegraphy.

4. These Regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Regulations in regard to Wireless Receiving Licences, 1927—No. 1, and may be cited as the " Regulations in regard to Wireless Receiving Licences (No. 2), 1927."

5. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1927.
