REGULATION No. 3 MADE BY THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSIONERS WITH THE CONSENT OF THE MINISTER FOR FINANCE UNDER SECTION 5 OF THE CIVIL SERVICE REGULATION ACT, 1924. 23/03/1926: | ||
CIVIL SERVICE - OFFICERS HAVING "SPECIAL RECOMMENDATIONS" - REVIEW OF CASES | ||
1. This Regulation shall apply to every person at present serving in the Civil Service of the Government of Saorstát Éireann in respect of whom a " Special Recommendation " issued pursuant to the provisions of the British Order in Council of the 22nd March, 1918, fell due for reconsideration at a date subsequent to the 1st April, 1922. | ||
2. The Civil Service Commissioners may review the case of every officer to whom this Regulation applies and may, subject to the provisions of this Regulation, either renew the " Special Recommendation " issued in favour of such officer or terminate it or may grant a " Modified Military Service Certificate " in respect of such officer. | ||
3. The provisions contained in Clauses 2 and 3 of Regulation No. 2 of the 28th October, 1924, made by the Civil Service Commissioners with the consent of the Minister for Finance shall apply mutatis mutandis to the renewal or termination of a " Special Recommendation " or the grant of a " Modified Military Service Certificate " pursuant to this Regulation. | ||
