STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1926. No. 70.

MEDICAL ACT, 1925 (FOURTH CONTINUANCE) ORDER, 1926.

WHEREAS it is enacted by section 2 of the Medical Act, 1926 (No. 4 of 1926) that the Medical Act, 1925 (No. 2 of 1925), shall, notwithstanding anything to the contrary therein, continue in force until the 21st day of August, 1926, and shall then expire unless further continued by an order of the Executive Council made under the said Medical Act, 1926 :

AND WHEREAS it is enacted by section 3 of the said Medical Act, 1926 , that the Executive Council, if they so think fit, may, by an order made before the 21st day of August, 1926, continue the said Medical Act, 1925 , in force for one month from the said 21st day of August, 1926, and may thereafter from time to time by order made before the expiration of the said Act under the last previous Order made under the said section now in recital continue the said Act in force for one month from the date on which that Act would have expired under such last previous order:

AND WHEREAS by the Medical Act, 1925 (First Continuance) Order, 1926, the Medical Act, 1925 (Second Continuance) Order, 1926, and the Medical Act, 1925 (Third Continuance) Order, 1926, made on the 30th day of July, 1926, the 20th day of September, 1926, and the 12th day of October, 1926, respectively, by the Executive Council under the said section 3 of the Medical Act, 1926 , the said Medical Act, 1925 , was continued in force until the 21st day of November, 1926:

NOW, THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL, in exercise of the power conferred on them by section 3 of the Medical Act, 1926 (No. 4 of 1926), do hereby order as follows:—

1. —This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Medical Act, 1925 (Fourth Continuance) Order, 1926.

2. —The Medical Act, 1925 (No. 2 of 1925) shall continue in force until the 21st day of December, 1926.
