SAFETY :—Prevention of Accidents.

THE PREVENTION OF ACCIDENTS RULES, 1911, AMENDMENT RULES, 1926, DATED 3rd MAY, 1926, MADE BY THE MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE PURSUANT TO SECTION 1 (1) OF THE RAILWAY EMPLOYMENT (PREVENTION OF ACCIDENTS) ACT, 1900.

1. The figures and words " 15 years for wagons of companies or persons owning under 3,000 wagons " contained in Clause 3 of the Prevention of Accidents Rules, 1911, as amended by the Prevention of Accidents (Extension of Time) Rules, 1920, and the figures and words " 15 years for wagons of companies or persons owning 3,000 and under 20,000 wagons " contained in the said Clause 3, shall be rescinded, and the figures and words " 20 years for wagons of Companies or persons owning under 20,000 wagons " shall be substituted therefor, and such Clause shall be read and have effect as if the latter figures and words were originally contained therein.

2. This Rule shall come into operation as from the date hereof, and may be cited as " The Prevention of Accidents Rules, 1911, Amendment Rules, 1926."
