Preservation of rights after expiry of Principal Act.

12.—The expiration of the Principal Act as amended by this Act in relation to any dwelling-house to which the Principal Act as so amended applies shall not render recoverable by a landlord any rent, interest, or other sum which was irrecoverable prior to such expiration or affect the right of a tenant to recover any sum which prior to such expiration was recoverable by the tenant under the Principal Act as so modified and amended.
