COUNTY SCHEME ORDER, TIPPERARY (N.R.) (AMENDMENT), 1925.

THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT (TEMPORARY PROVISIONS) ACT, 1923 .

To the Council of the Administrative County of Tipperary (North Riding); to the Tipperary (North Riding) County Board of Health: and to all whom it may concern:

WHEREAS by an Order under my Seal of Office bearing date the 18th day of January, 1924, called the Tipperary (North Riding) County Scheme Order, 1924, I, the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, in pursuance of Section 4 of the Local Government (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"), did confirm the scheme prepared and submitted to me by the Council of the Administrative County of Tipperary (North Riding) for the relief of the poor in their county in accordance with the provisions of the Act, with such modifications, omissions and additions as should bring it into conformity with the provisions of the scheme set out in the Schedule to the said Order (which said Provisions are in the said Order and this Order referred to as the Tipperary (North Riding) County Scheme):

AND WHEREAS the Tipperary (North Riding) County Scheme has come into operation and I, the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, deem it necessary in pursuance of Section 5 of the Act to amend the said Scheme in such manner as to provide for the provision and maintenance by the Tipperary (North Riding) County Board of Health of a District Hospital at Roscrea in place of the County Hospital which the said Board of Health are required to provide and maintain at Roscrea under Article 15 of the said Scheme, and I have, on the 9th day of December, 1924, given to the Council of the Administrative County of Tipperary (North Riding) one month's notice of my intention to make the said amendment and have taken into consideration any representation which has been made to me by the said Council within such month in respect of such amendment:

NOW, THEREFORE, I the Minister for Local Government and Public Health in exercise of the powers given to me by Section 5 of the Act and of all other powers in this behalf enabling me do by this my Order amend the Tipperary (North Riding) County Scheme in manner following, that is to say:—

1. Paragraph (b) of sub-article (i) of Article 15 of the Tipperary (North Riding) County Scheme shall cease to have effect and in place thereof there shall be substituted the following paragraph:

" (d) A District Hospital at Roscrea for the treatment of medical, surgical and maternity cases."

2. This Order may be cited as the Tipperary (North Riding) County Scheme (Amendment) Order, 1925, and shall come into operation as from the date hereof.
